A collection of projects we have taken part in. We volunteer in community service events, within our school programs, nonprofit organizations, and we team up with VSSN (Veterans Supplemental Support Network) to engage with different groups of people. Although we focus on service, its also important to focus on leadership aspects which we encorperate into our serivce, as well.

ABOUT US
Most military-connected students move six to nine times during their school years. Feeling like the perpetual “new kid” can be stressful – just finding someone to eat lunch with can make a difference. MCEC offers student-centered and student-led programs at the elementary, middle and high school levels to ease transitions, and create a positive environment.

Encouraging 100% acceptance is a hallmark of this successful program that brings military-connected and civilian kids together. The group welcomes incoming students to their new school, and helps departing students prepare for their next school. An intensive training program conducted under the close supervision of a teacher or school counselor, S2S flourishes in high schools across the country and overseas.
We are student run program that is a united, determined and is a positive team that aims to help all students transition comfortably into our school atmosphere. It is our mission and goal to welcome all new students and military children to our school. We volunteer throughout our community as well as VSSN, a non-profit organization, that works with veterans in the area.
“S2S has made me a more caring person, one who can see and feel what others are experiencing. I have loved being a part of TVHS and it is a large part of who I am. I know that if I do the right thing in S2S that other kids, just like me, will feel like they have come home and they belong.” - TVHS Officers
